Clearing Credit Reports

In this day, your credit report is highly important. The cost of money is derived from your credit score. It is important to always check your credit. Under federal law, you can check your credit report at least once a year at annualcreditreport.com. Make sure you do so. If there are issues with your report, you need to dispute them. There could be a number of problems. There could be another person’s information with the same name on your report.  You have an old account that has not been updated. It could be an incorrect amount of amount of money owed to the creditor. You can dispute these items on your credit by getting on the three major credit reporting websites and disputing the incorrect information. You need to explain the problem with the incorrect information.

If you choose to mail make sure you keep the green cards showing that you mailed the letter. Your credit is important in this day and age.
